Footballer David Beckham is planning to move to New York so that his wife Victoria Beckham can take her fashion career to new heights.
The couple currently reside here with their four children — Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, 7 and 16-month-old daughter Harper.
However, with David’s contract with his current football team LA Galaxy coming to an end, the couple is considering moving for Victoria’s sake and have even started looking for properties and schools in New York.
“Talks have begun about the next step for the family and New York is one of the options being talked about seriously,” a source reportedly told the Mail. “LA has given the family the outdoors lifestyle that they’ve loved for five years. But now the children are getting older and the couple both look to the future in their careers.”
The report adds that Victoria was seen house hunting and scouting schools (four their four children) during a recent trip to NYC. It also says Beckham, 38, has “no plans” to end his playing career at the moment.
Victoria, former member of popular band Spice Girls, has gained more recognition as a fashion designer than a singer.
