British director Sam Mendes will not direct the next James Bond movie, despite impressing critics and breaking box office records with Skyfall, the 23rd movie in the spy series.
Speaking to Empire magazine, the Oscar-winning filmmaker said he would be focusing on his theatre projects for the foreseeable future.
