True Blood actress Anna Paquin doesn’t mind having sex with a bunch of her co-stars.
“Actually, it’s not really uncomfortable because we’re all like kind of cozy and friends,” she told E! Online at the premier of the sevens season of the steamy TV show.
“It’s like, ‘Oh, I’ll put my leg there, you put your hand there. It’s OK, whatever.'”
Paquin said, she “had sex with several cast members on the show,” but quickly added “obviously, on camera.”
The 31-year-old actress met her husband Stephen Moyer on the set of the vampire TV show and they married in 2010. The couple had twins, Charlie and Poppy, in 2012.
In True Blood’s new and final season, Moyer even directed a love scene between his wife and actor Joe Manganiello. For the actor, however, helming a love scene between his wife and another man is all in a day’s work.
“There are moments where I’ll be watching the monitor [and say], ‘Oh, Joe, just move your hand up towards Anna’s breast,'” he told Entertainment Weekly.
“‘And can you move your thumb just a little bit towards her nipple Great.’ And then I’ll go, ‘Babe, babe, enjoy it.’ I’m certainly talking to her as ‘babe’. ‘Darling, go for it, yeah, feel the nipple.'”
Filming the scenes are not awkward for Paquin either.
“If you were to picture the perfect day at work for your spouse, would that be it Probably not, but this is just kind of how it’s always been. So it doesn’t feel as bizarre,” the actress, who plays Sookie Stackhouse, mused.
Surprisingly, Paquin and Moyer agree that the show’s intense sexuality and bizarre vampire storylines have brought them closer together.
“In a funny way, I feel like – without revealing too much – it’s quite interesting for us as a couple because we’ve kind of gone to places where a lot of people don’t get to,” Moyer, who plays vampire Bill, said.
“Or have to,” Paquin
