Amanda Bynes ‘kicked out of gym’

Amanda Bynes was reportedly asked to leave a gymnastics class after acting “strangely”.

The troubled actress’ mental health has been questioned in recent months, after she landed herself in legal trouble and posted a series of bizarre messages on Twitter.

Bynes has sparked fresh concern for her wellbeing by wearing a racy outfit and wig to a class in Chelsea Piers, New York City, and later breaking down in tears.

Staff at the centre apparently became worried when they saw Amanda talking to herself.

“She showed up in fishnets and a leotard that looked like lingerie… She immediately started acting strangely. She lined up with the other gymnasts, and each took their turn to perform a roll. But Amanda just walked out on the mat, was spinning around in circles and mumbling to herself,” a source told New York Post’s Page Six.

“Later, when the others were performing cartwheels, Amanda did a cartwheel, but her wig fell off, and she sat down and cried.”

Bynes was reportedly asked to leave after continuing to “mutter to herself” and walking in front of others when they were performing exercises.

“She went two weeks in a row, but the second time, she was escorted out,” the source added.

“Staff were concerned about her manner and worried she might be a hazard to other people in the class.”

Last week, Bynes claimed she is battling an eating disorder after hitting back at people for criticising her weight.

She also recently revealed that she is determined to stay in shape through exercise.

“I moved to New York City and I love it,” she is quoted as saying. “I lost 4lbs. since I moved. I’m 121lbs. My goal is 100lbs. I gain weight quickly so I need to work out constantly.”

A family insider told In Touch magazine that the star has been ignoring loved ones who have reached out to her.

“She’s completely resisting any help that her family wants to give her,” an insider told the publication.

Bynes has made headlines after a series of run-ins with police, including a charge for Driving Under the Influence and a hit and run.
