What would you say if I have asked you ‘What is so good about being a girl?’
Probably not a lot of women would come up with this answer below.
We have Veginas
We get jobs
We are creative
We have stuff that makes us preanet
We have milk in our babes
We are smart
We have power
well maybe you wouldn’t come up with this list but a very wise 8-year-old did
This is her response to an assignment given to her and posted on Reddit by her dad.
Dad says he also has a son and “[He] is still too young to do these writing assignments, but we do our best to make sure that he has an equally sound sense of self-worth. There are definitely some differences in the social baggage that our two children face, and we do try to be thoughtful of that. But for both basically we are just hopeful that we can mitigate a little of the unhealthy social patterns that they will face out in this world with some encouragements at home.“
